GES Oil Field Services Ltd will be making their first appearance at Offshore Europe, one of the world’s largest conference exhibitions for the offshore industry, thanks to the financial support accessed through the Enterprise Hub Fife.
As an office tenant of the Enterprise Hub Fife, Alex Jarrett of GES Oil Field Services (GES) has access to a number of business support services including mentoring, specialist training, networking and access to experienced business advisers.
Whilst at the Enterprise Hub and upon speaking to Dot Smith, an Economic Adviser at Fife Council, Alex learned of the opportunity to exhibit at the show. Dot advised Alex of the “Trade Development Programme” which resulted in the offer of financial support to exhibit at the show, which will run between 3-6 September 2019.
Speaking about the upcoming event, Dot advised “As part of the Trade Development Programme, Fife Council Economic Development has organised a group stand at the Offshore Europe Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference for some years now. This has really benefitted Fife companies looking to engage in the energy sector but unable to meet the costs of exhibiting independently.”
She continued, “It’s fantastic that GES has been able to tap into the support on offer to enable them to attend the exhibition as part of a Fife Group stand with 7 other Fife companies. I have no doubt they will benefit not only from the Networking opportunities at the show but the post event opportunities too.”
Responding to this Alex confirmed “We’re delighted to have been offered this additional support as an Enterprise Hub Fife Office tenant. It’s helping us keep our finger on the pulse and we’re looking forward to connecting with a global network to help us grow the business.”
